Nobody walks into Subway hoping to get handed a pre-made sandwich.

Jason here.

Imagine walking into Subway, with your stomach growling.

But instead of asking what you want…

The sandwich artist slaps a pre-made tuna sandwich on the counter.

"That'll be $12."

Problem is…

You effin’ hate tuna!

But this is EXACTLY how most people try to sell online...

They shove their "pre-made sandwich" in prospects' faces…

Without asking a single question.

Then they wonder why nobody's buying!

After selling everything from dating products to satellite dishes…

Travis came up with a helpful (and tasty) lil’ metaphor.

Selling is like making a sandwich.

Every great sandwich needs 5 key ingredients.

MOST people's marketing is just hard-selling dry bread.

Maybe with a glob of mayo if they're feeling fancy.

The first ingredient (and where 90% of marketers mess up) is the "Present Pain."

This is the top slice of bread in our sandwich.

Most marketers ask vague questions like:

"Are you struggling to get clients?”

"Is your business not where you want it to be?"

"Feeling stuck?"

Problem is...

You can't POINT to "struggling" or "stuck."

If you're a relationship coach, don't ask "Is the passion fading?"

Instead ask: "Does he kiss you like your grandpa?"

THAT creates an instant movie in their mind.

If you own a restaurant, don't ask "Need more sales?"

Point to: "Is your carryout counter empty during lunch rush?"

Your index finger is your most powerful conversion tool.

If you can physically point to the pain, prospects instantly connect.

If you can't point to it...

It's too vague.

You can't point to "frustration"...

But you CAN point to "43 unanswered emails piling up in your inbox."

Tomorrow I'll show you why your sandwich needs more than just bread...

And how to add the special sauce that makes offers irresistible.

In Your Corner,

Jason

Prospects chase you instead of you chasing them.
