Jason here.

Back in 2002, Microsoft changed their tagline.

Going from "Where do you want to go today?"...

... to "Your potential. Our passion."

The difference seems pretty minor.

Just swapping out a simple question for new buzzwords, right?

But Bill Gates and crew had more happening under the hood than meets the eye.

Their product copy shifted from "helps you work" to "works FOR you!"

Small shift…

But a MASSIVE difference in response.

When Travis was noodling on the title for his upcoming book last week…

He shared a nugget of wisdom that makes the same shift you can use in your own copy…

By adding just ONE letter!

I’ll warn ya…

This is SO simple you might be tempted to overlook it.

But when you use it… It’ll take the weight off the shoulders of your buyers…

And make it FAR EASIER for them to say “yes.”

Let’s pretend you’re selling an email script for copywriters…

Take these two lines:

"Land more high-paying clients"

vs.

"Lands more high-paying clients"

The first one feels like another task on your to-do list.

The second one feels almost AUTOMATIC!

Like the strategy is doing the heavy lifting.

And that’s pretty darn appealing when you consider what most copywriters’ schedules look like.

The last thing you need is another "how-to" that requires YOUR time and effort…

Or “7 simple steps” you need to memorize.

That tiny little 's'...

It's the difference between offering another task...

And offering freedom.

So today, see where you can sneak a tiny little ‘s’ into your own copy.

(Just like I did in the first line of this email 👆👆👆)

Sometimes the smallest shift creates the biggest results.

In Your Corner,

Jason
