Jason here.
Just grabbing some coffee before basketball games with the kiddos.
But before we head to the gym, I wanted to share a quick copy tip from Travis’s noggin.
I heard someone say the other day…
“Good copy becomes great when they forget they’re reading copy.”
Instead of reading words on the page…
They’re seeing images in their mind.
That’s why today’s SUPER simple but ultra-effective 2.5-minute copy tip is:
"Draw" your sales message BEFORE writing a single word.
(And no... you don't need actual art skills. Thank goodness!)
See, most copywriters start typing right away...
But that's like trying to describe a movie you've never seen.
The best copywriters?
They play the "movie" in their head first.
Like the classic Charles Atlas ad in comic books…
It showed a scrawny guy getting sand kicked in his face at the beach…
Then getting buff…
Then coming back to punch the bully and get the girl.
That visual story sold MILLIONS in muscle-building courses.
Why?
Because it installed PICTURES in people's minds…
Not just words on a page.
And this works because of how our brains are wired.
We process images up to 600X faster than text.
And people make buying decisions based on FEELINGS…
Not logic.
Which makes creating simple images like having a secret backdoor to your reader's buying brain.
This "Mini Mind Movie" technique is just one of the gems from Travis’s Ca$h Kopywriting for Kids.
Two top copywriters have said it's the simplest course they've seen on turning words into money.
And I’ve just dropped it as another bonus for our Founding 50…
(Named because it's 50° in Minnesota and clearly anything is possible...)
We’ve still got a few spots open if you’re interested in joining us.
Enjoy your weekend… I’m off to be the annoyingly loud dad in the basketball bleachers!
In Your Corner,
Jason
