Travis just dropped in for his introduction…

I figured I’d follow it with my own dorky hello.

Hi there!

I’m Jason Eckerman. I’m a family man from frigid Minnesota, and I like to make mischief with Travis.

(Including co-authoring his next book with our friend, Jim.)

Since he just aired his TV obsession with you…

I figure it's only fair to come clean about my own quirks as Travis and I get to know you better.

So here goes… 

When I’m not re-watching How I Met Your Mother or The Office...

I’m a serial “language dabbler.”

Which means…

After I’m done wrestling my two kiddos and our golden doodle, Luna, for the night…

I like to kick my feet up and learn random languages to unwind.

Not dorky at all, right?

Lucky for me…

My wife (like Travis’s better half) finds those quirks cute.

So I don’t feel QUITE so nerdy. 

Now…

While my language dabbling may SEEM like a big waste of time…

It’s taught me an important lesson that applies to what we do here.

Because…

Just like you don’t need to live in Rome to “do as the Romans do” (I’m diving into Italian right now)…

You don’t need to binge on dusty copywriting books to make a DARN-GOOD living!

Thanks to some simple lessons I’ve picked up from Travis…

I enjoy more FUN… 

More FREEDOM… 

And more FINANCIAL WELLBEING now than I did in my past life as a psychologist.

Which brings us back to YOU, and our mission with The Copywriter’s Coach.

In the coming days, we have a pretty simple goal in mind.

Give you short, actionable tips that turn clicks into sales... even if you write like a 6th grader.

(Actually, might work BETTER if ya do.)
